Why Argus Care Exists
It started with a bell.
My mom was hemiplegic — unable to move on her own. She lived with my sister, who was her primary caregiver. My mom had a bell she used to call for help. One afternoon, she rang it. From the laundry room, my sister called back: “Coming!”
My mom didn’t hear her.
After a minute, my mom turned to me and said: “See how she doesn’t answer. See how long she takes.”
My sister wasn’t ignoring her. She had answered. She was on her way. My mom just didn’t know.
That gap — between a call sent and a call received — was causing real pain. Not because anyone was doing anything wrong. But because there was no way for either of them to know the other had heard.
I couldn’t stop thinking about it. So I looked for solutions. I couldn’t find any. So I decided to build one.
That was the idea that became Argus Care.
What Argus Care Is
Argus Care is an AI-powered caregiving system built around one idea: everyone involved in caregiving — the person receiving care, the caregiver giving it, and the family watching from a distance — deserves to feel confident, calm, and connected.
It started as a button and a pager. But the vision is bigger.

For recipients: Call for help with your voice, a button press, or a gesture. See instant confirmation that your caregiver received your call. Know that help is coming.
For caregivers: Receive quiet vibration alerts on your pager. Know when calls are urgent. Acknowledge calls so your recipient knows you’re on your way.
For families and managers: Stay informed remotely. See that calls are being answered. Have confidence that care is being provided.
And it works without internet. No WiFi required. No monthly fees. No complexity.

Argus Care is currently in development. We are not yet available for purchase. This website — and this community — is our first step.
We are launching this community on May 5, 2026 — National Nurses Week — as a tribute to the caregivers who show up every single day. We chose this date intentionally. Because before we build technology, we wanted to listen. To understand the real experiences of recipients, caregivers, and families. To make sure that what we build actually helps.
